I just tried using some old decals and they fell apart. Is there anyway i can restore them?

Microscale makes a liquid decal film you can paint thinly over the old decal surface. Let it dry for at least 15 minutes and the decal should be salvageable. I just used some thirty year old striping last week!

I have also "shot" old decals with Testors Dullcoat which has given them the necessary strength to be used.
