What ever happend to MR layout contest

I remember a couple of years ago there was a contest held by Model Railroader. As I recall, three winners were to each receive a junk of ca***o build a layout with. The layout was determined by the magazine, and the intent was for new modelers to build them and share their experiences, questions, etc. in the pages of MR.

I recall winners being announced, and did see a question from one of the winners within the next couple of months, but nothing since.

Am I remembering wrongly? Was there an update I missed?

I remember a different contest where people designed layouts for a small room, but now I don't remember seeing that one in quite some time.
