I would do some research befor using mothballs, the fumes and if they come in contact with certain plastic and foam products will melt or distort them. Go to your local pest control store maybe they can help you. A few years ago my neighbor went on vacation and someone told them to put mothballs around their house, they did and a few under their refrigerator the fan sent the fumes into the frig. needless to say they had to throw out all the food in the freezer and frig. and the frig. also your layout will smell forever.
Good Luck
Beeline
