I make my own using .025" piano wire and Athearn handrail stanchions. If the walkway on the loco is wide enough, I clip off the bottom bend and drill a hole straight down into the walkway for the stanchion. I use needlenose pliars and start my bends at the corners over the steps. I've replaced all the molded handrails on my engines.

Use .012" or .015" brass and Smokey Valley staunchions. .025" is fine for O scale, but way over size for HO.
Or order them from Stewart
http://www.stewarthobbies.com/
click on PARTS on the left side of the screen, and scroll down the Alco Century C630.
Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California

I'm looking for handrails too--but in my case, for Athearn GP-7 handrails. No hobby shop seems to carry them and apparently they can't be ordered anymore...

Ironic, I'm looking for Athearn GP 7 handrails, also. I've taken to buying junker Athearn engines off eBay and salvaging parts for current and future repairs. With the uncertain future, I figure I'd better tune 'em up now.
