Does anyone have the Faller Car System in N scale? How do you like it? How does it compare to the HO scale version?

Thanks in advance

I use the HO version and it really is great. I can't see that Faller would not be as good in N scale.

Well, just placed my order for the faller car system n-scale - sight unseen.. Likely will take a few weeks to be deliverd. The funny thing is, I don't even have a layout! I'm using kato unitrack and have some loco's/cars but am in the designing stages of my layout. I'm new to the hobby and thought I'd buy the car system and design my layout to incorporate it - hopefully.

Just got the Faller Car system in. Still in the box, but I tried it out. Looks great! Can't believe they can make things so small.

I bought both the starter set (has a school bus) and the Reitze(sp?) passenger bus - both working great - I just have to think of a layout.

It seems you have to embed the wire the magnets of the cars follow into/under a smooth roadbed - they give a modelling plaster. I think I'll try it under a paper roadway first. I don't know about run times but there looks to be a rechargeable battery in the buses.

Now I have to think not only about my railway layout but a road layout too!

just to add:

when I first got the package, the actual box from faller had "HO 1:87"., but the actual vehicle inside is N-scale as per the vendors sticker on the box. I put the bus on my layout and it is the right proportion.

Hi

I too just got the N scale Faller Car System. But I am going nuts because there is so much more in HO scale such as the roads and more cars. Does anyone know where to get more N scale items for the Car System? I am at the point where I can do so much with this system, but there is nothing for us to buy. Any ideas? Thanks!!

(p.s. neelesh joshi. I too had "HO 1:87" box , but N scale Bus.)

Time for this old bird to get his vision checked (I'm due for my annual checkup anyway).

Thought the topic said Faller CarD System.

I was wondering what you were all talking about it in N-scale![%-)][banghead]
