why handlay track and handbuild turnouts???

<p>Well, see, that's the thing, I'm pretty sure I won't enjoy doing it. I have a feeling I'll enjoy building structures, doing scenery, weathering cars, etc. But, knowing myself, I have a feeling I'll get very frustrated with handlaying track. That's why I was trying to get an idea of whether there were some overriding benefits to doing so. </p><p>Could someone tell me why they feel handlayed track is more reliable than bought track? Don't you introduce a lot of human error(shaky hands, glue spots, etc.) with handlaying? I'm afraid I'd make a mess of things. </p>
