Birthday
Posted by dave9999 on Sunday, February 1, 2004 10:14 PM
I know I've spouted off about useless, non-train related topics in the past, but I'm
coming around !! I've even helped keep the "discontinuance of stars" topic going!!
So here's one of my own.

Todays my birthday !!!!!! [bday][bday] 35 and going strong. Dave

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!

As a gift, we're sending you a gift certificate worth $5,000, redeemable for anything you like in the 2004 edition of Walthers' catalog.

Of course, I'll have to discover who 'we' are in the context of this post! [(-D][(-D][(-D]

May the next 35 years of your life be filled with good health, prosperity, kindness and LOTS OF TRAINS![bday]

Dave, [;)][;)]

You're on the way to being "over the hill".[:D][:D]

There was a "learned" discussion recently on the actual mid-life point. Well it turned out to be somewhere around twenty. How did they figure this??
Seems that up to age twenty things move relatively slowly as measured against one's whole life time. Past twenty they start to accelerate and when you get to be my age time is flying i.e. each year becomes a smaller and smaller portion of one's life time.
Of course there are also wicked tongues that maintain "Old geezers like you have so much experience, it's too bad you forget half the stuff" [:D][:D][:D][:o)]

When I was 35, I was pushing some old tub around the ocean. Now I'm nearly double that age and I'm wishing I was still on that tub. Happy Birthday.
