Does any one have any ideas for keeping sturctures on a right angle? My problem is my cornerstone bulding never stay on a right angle.[:(!] So if you can help me please email me or repely here before 8:30AM est. time. I check it every day.

I created my own kind of jig, with a block of wood that I cut in a miter box that I knew was square. This block of wood is only about 1 1/2 inches long by the same wide. I hot glued this onto a piece of plywood that is 12 inches square. I inset the piece I glued down about one inch from the top and side of the top corner of the plywood. I do the same with another block on the other top corner. I define the top, as the edge the most further away from you, or if you stand the plywood up, then the top.

So you have two blocks so depending on how your walls run, you will use one or the other block. I then glue the walls at the corner to each other and clamp them to the blocks, which holds the corner at right angles.

There are any number of jigs and angle setting aids available. Do a bit of research in the usual places.

Indeed, catalogs like Micro-Mark have special metal blocks intended to hold building walls at right angles, and many local hobby shops also carry such things.

I have a few older Metal T-Sqaures from my Fathers old Architect-design work the keep things really tight & sqared off.
