Heck, the metal plate on the side of the thing is higher than a man.The other zoom im still learning, putting too much on too fast or pulling it out too fast. I definately know the next camera will have optical zoom as the digital does not really cut it. Yes it will cost more but be better.It's a Sony DVR 460 Camcorder, I must have bought the very last one availible in my state... as a demo for at least half off retail.
