In my younger years I picked up the loco after it'd been out a few years. (I think it was on sale or something-maybe that's why I got it) Anyways, one of the biggest pieces of crap I ever got. The motor in the tender, traction tires, etc. It's in pieces now. Weird tho-since this was initially posted, the old commercial for that set came back to me-they beseiged the networks w/it back then.

"Pardon Me Boy...is that the Chattanooga Choo Choo?...
YES! YES! TYCO'S NEW TOY!"

My memory keeps too much stupid stuff retained....
My Chattanooga ran well for some time, and pulled a lot, but when it started to fail I couldn't catch the parts fast enough.

Here's something to refresh the nightmare: Tyco Chattanooga Choo-Choo Ad [}:)]
3 Days and 3 hours left! And ZERO bids! [(-D]
Shhhhh!!! I'm waiting to make a sniping bid! [:-,]
Ugh. Nightmare indeed. Wonder how many takes they did to get it right. That little payday sign along with the slow mo shot of the driving wheels working just like the real thing... was a touch. (Never mind that the tender is actually PUSHIng that loco)

Today's models are under such a microscope compared to the way back machine.
