Thanks Philip, great explanations, especially about the necessity of keeping track clean.I'm eagerly waiting for my LL GP20 starter set to arrive--should be sometime middle of this week.  I've also been reading and reading and am itching to buy more stuff--mainly extra track (flex-track and Power-Loc adapters) and buildings--but am going to hold off until I get the set and have a chance to set it up.  Gaaahhh... so hard to exert self-control...[:P]
