Trains in your sig
Posted by SMassey on Monday, October 8, 2007 12:01 PM
OK where can I get some of them?  I have seen just about every road name and a few different locos and rolling stock?  Is there a site or a "smiley page" some where here on trains.com?

Um looking back at my post I realize that I forgot to mention the trains I am looking for are the small little .gif graphic files and not pics of real trains.

There are several sites out there with varying mini gif.

Here are a few I know of:

Alex Stroshane's Train Gifs

Chris Denbow's Train Gifs

Brian Clough's Train Gifs (slightly larger then standard)

Go to Photobucket and search Pcarrell. Then go to avatars.

He has plenty, several big boys too.

(Sorry PC, beat ya to it.)

you need to host them on a site like photobucket or flikr and then link the image.  then to make a train dont put any spaces between the[/img] and [img] tags like this:

 [.img]locopic[./img][.img]carpic[./img][.img]caboosepic[./img]

(the dots are used so that the forum does not look for an image)

I tried to look them up, but, Pcarrell's album needs a password.

What am I doing wrong?

Yes, he is. You can find posts by him in the 'Elliot's Diner' thread. Just click the 'PM' button on any of them and leave a message.

I had no idea I was so popular!

Here, try this link! (there are several pages)

Some of these are too large for sig pics, so be sure and check into that, OK?

Host the GIF on a hosting site and paste the GIF's address in between [.IMG]GIF ADRESS[./IMG]. Don't use the periods.
