Well, I am from Petoskey, Mi and looking for modelers in HO primarily. There is a small group in Traverse City faciliated by the hobby shop there. If you get up north, stop by . Larry is my name and my email is lgerould@chartermi.net
I have a 14 by 42 ft with a helix to a second level (second level not started, YET). NO pictures to put on the internet yet......trains are running but not much scenery yet. Trains without scenery is almost like running around naked.......gadzooks

I live in Grand Rapids. There's some website about a club in Kalamazoo that models the Pere Marquete in HO. Can't remember it though.

I live in Northville. I belong to the Ford Model Railroad club, and we have a HO/O modular layout. We are working on the website right now. Go to michiganrailroads.com to see other clubs.

you guys are making me "homesick", I spent two years as a Canuck in Grand Rapids, Michigan (Calvin College), while my model r/r was stored away in a box back here in British Columbia. At the time this hobby was on-hold. I'd still like to find out what railroads operate in(exclusively ??? or through) Michigan as I'd like to get some rolling stock.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents (perhaps that's closer to 1.5 cents USD). I'd still like to get back to G.R. for my grad reunion. I recall the zip was 49506 (outdated I'm sure), and I fondly remember the days as a Michiginian/ Michiganian.

(to be fair to all of the other States, I got lost on my way to Michigan and drove-through most of the USofA finding my way around the lake) Now I've got friends throughout the States.[8D][:D]

cheers, krump
