Working on a pond created with a timber-crib dam. Down stream will be crossed by a king-post wooden bridge and two flush deck timber trestles, the latter two crossing a tidal estuary. One a 4 pile class 25 and one a 5 pile ballasted deck class 35 to Harriman standard. All are scratchbuilt using wood and handlaid rail of code 55 and code 70. The purpose of the pond is to provide irrigation to orange and avocado groves and secondarily provide water via a windmill powered pumping system for my steam roster.

Its my first attempt at any sort of running water. So i'll likely be seeking lots of technical and stylistic advice in the forums.

Randy
