David - <br />Here's my "esthetic judgement" - the distance from the turntable to the roundhouse should be so that you can do one of those neat "photo ops" with several locomotives posed heading out of the roundhouse. <br />(I'll leave it up to the reader to convert THAT into inches.) <br />Bill
