Afternoon All...Cloudy warmer and posta rain this evening..Lot of the snow is melting....I'll have a cheese burger, onion rings and a diet Coke...Please..Thank You....Well I got of my duff this morning and took most of rolling stock off layout, pulled one of the mine tracks and put in a uncoupling magnet...I am going to lose maybe a car or car and a 1/2 on the siding but will be able to uncouple easier.....also fitted a chunk of pink foam for a dead end bumper....I am looking forward to trying it out to see if it works as well as it does in HO.. I use to get about 95% uncouling in HO if couplers were all right hight and working right....Anybody in N scale know anything about the conversions for M/T couplers on older engines..I was told they don't make them for some of the older engines anymore? I need one for a Atlas RS for the 80's....JR....What type of plaster do you use? Thats some nice work......Dude....Welcome to the coffee shop a lot of us started with 4 by 8's ...I did but back then you could buy all the lumber you needed to build it for 20.00 and get change back...but I was working for 3 something an hour....Jeff.....You got that right buddy a fixed income doesn't mean you can't enjoy the hobby swap meets, thrift shops, yard sales, sale table at your local hobby shop, yes even dumpster diving all the "pink" foam I am using on my layout come from a dumpster...You all have a good evening......Jerry
