For the record, I think the PROTO 2000 series is awesome and have several of their diesels. Quality over quantity however wins out every time. Best to save your dollars for a model from a manufacturer with a sterling reputation for quality than to pick up three or four inexpensive models at a swap meet...only to be disappointed within a week over poor performance, etc.
