Have used fiber optics before, that is real old tecnoligy from 50 years ago. The strands are not as flexable as the lights. Led's are everywhere now and real cheap, I would go with the WS stuff. WS has been around a long time and have always had great customer service.
I use Woodland Scenics. Woodland Scenics uses LEDs. Dwarvin has a light box the fiber optics go into. If you have the just plug structures, you have to use the Woodland Scenics system. They make 3 versions of street lights. They also have an LED to light up structures. Joe
I'm looking at the Dwarvin Fiber optics lighting system vs. the Woodlamd Scenics Just Plug lighting system. I have 6 Woodland Scenics prelit structures with 23 other structures to light and 12 street lights to install. Cost difference between what I need between these 2 system is about $10.
Any experience with either? Pros and cons?
Thanks. I think Santa may want to know these answers beofre Christmas.
What brand? If it's Woodland Scenics, they make a red and a blue box as well as a walwart and switch. Power goes to the red box. This has 4 outlets. You plug a blue box into one of the plugs. The blue box has 4 plugs as well. The LEDs plug into 1 of the plugs. https://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/JustPlugLightingSystem Joe
I have purchased several structures and cars and a water tower that come with built-in Plug and Play LED lights. But they do not mention what I need to plug all these connectors into that come from these LEDs. What do I need to plug them into to apply power?
Thanks.
