Yes, all the newer Kato locomotives are DCC ready. In fact Kato N scale locomotoves are some of the easiest N scale locomotives to covert to DCC. On their website they recommend TCS Kod3-A or Digitrax DN163KOA decoders. It's as easy as replacing the circuit board which slides out, and sliding in the DCC board. You can Google "installing DCC in a Kato N scale locomotive" and find lots of YouTube videos on how to do it.
Hope this helps,
Ralph
Looking at the Kato website, the sets may be a couple passenger cars. a couple lighted passenger cars, three passenger cars and a loco with DCC or a set with no mention of being DCC ready. There is also a NLA IVb version of the loco and coaches.
That last version may be available from retailers. These days in HO, most things are pretty much DCC ready. I'm not a N scale guy and I don't know if the same is true in N scale. I would call or use the Kato contact form if no one here knows for sure.

Hi there, the new guy again. This may sound silly, but I was look at Kato's Amtrak Amfleet & Viewliner Intercity Set and had one question about it: Is it DCC ready? Still kinda new to DCC.
