I did the same thing you did but had to file the tapped hole. The metal was raised by the tap and puntured the Kapton. I found out when I did an ohm meter test.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
I have an Atlas S4, and the decoder I installed years ago (NCE?) came with kapton tape and a 2mm nylon screw. I've converted some older Atlas/Roco models since then, such as H10-44s and FP7s, and I used a nylon 2-56 screw and kapton tape off a roll. Just tapped the bottom screw hole with my 2-56 tap.

I believe it's a 2mm screw. I assume you want a nylon screw for isolation. You could try eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/M2-2mm-Nylon-Pan-Round-Head-Phillips-Screws-Plastic-Machine-Screws-Black-/182177265455
I had 2-56 nylon screws, so for similar projects I retapped the motor for 2-56.
