Thanks for your reply, Mel. That is the switch (16000 series) that I have. I've had them for about 30-35 years now and have finely gotten around to having a layout to use them on. I have them on all the control panels for block/district and they work great. One last panel to set up is the sawmill complex.
The switch can only be wired for reversing on one position, center to left or center to right. Not left to center to right.https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/393/switchcraft_telever%2016000%20series-1206742.pdfMel My Model Railroad http://melvineperry.blogspot.com/ Bakersfield, California I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
I have some Switchcraft 160324 switches (3t4p?) that I am using for block wiring, switching between 2 cabs. They work great for this and wiring was simple.
I am working on my sawmill area that is on a branch line and has 2 yard areas (rec/ship). Separate switches for each. All will be on the same cab.
How do I wire these switches for reversing? Wiring the same as 2p2t does not work.
Pops.
