NCE USB interface Problem

I cannot get my NCE USB Interface to talk to my computer, does anyone out there know how to trouble shoot this problem. Every thing seems OK I've downloaded the latest version of JMRI Decoderpro and it works fine but I cannot get the USB interface to talk to my computer. Thanks Bill Oberst SVC Trains

Can you get a second throttle or another device to work with your NCE PowerCab?  Do the on board lights on the NCE USB flash on either side (Cab bus or PC side)?
