Looking for tender to engine wiring
Posted by tedski on Friday, January 20, 2017 5:33 PM

I have a BLI Hudson J1e.  The connector linking the tender and engine has six black wires.  One of the wires has broken and another looks like its starting to pull out.  In opening the tender I found that the end that goes into the tender is the same as the end that inserts to the engine.  So it was possible to pull out the wires from both the tender and engine.  If I could find a replacement, I could just insert the connectors, one into the engine and the other into the tender and be off and running.  However, I cannot find this connector.  Does anyone know where I can find them?

Have you checked to see if BLI has them that you can buy?

Good luck,

Richard

Have you checked with BLI to see if they have them for sale?

Good luck,

Richard

EDIT:  The prompt said I needed to post a body to my message, like they didn't have one.  Looks like me it was already there.  Don't know.  Computers!!!

How many terminals on the connector?  Could you post a picture of the connector?

I use standard NMRA 8 pin DCC connectors between my Cab Forwards and their tenders.
