I have recently seen David Popp use orange quick connectors for connecting the buss wires between sections of a layout. These are supposed to be used to connect a boat trailer to an automobile and should be available at an automobile parts store or a hardware store. However, I have been unable to find them. Would someone please let me know the name of the manufacturer, the name of the part, and the part number. Thanks.P.S. You can see David using this connecter on Rehab My Railroad, Episode 12, at about the 10:08 mark.
JPD,
I didn't see Rehab My Railroad....but was it any of these??:

Frank,
You are the man!
Your link led me to the exact quick connectors I was looking for. They are available from Home Depot at http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ideal-PowerPlug-Orange-Ballast-Disconnect-Discs-5-Pack-30-1302S/202935637
I see they are really ballast connectors and have nothing to do with trailors or automobiles.Thanks.
Your Welcome! I had a feeling those were probably the ones...but I thought that I would throw in more info.
I deleted My original link and put in the Home Depot one...other link gave toooo much info. LOL.
For any one else who might need this product, the link hand-leads you right to the aisle and section in your local store. Google knows I'm in North Las Vegas and the info was there for the Craig Road store.
I LOVE it when modern electronics work as designed.
