NCE/Decoder Pro issues
Posted by CPRailer on Saturday, January 2, 2016 5:35 PM

I am new to both NCE and Decoder Pro.  Have been in dcc for 5 years but just converted to NCE from MRC (don't ask whyBig Smile)  Anyway, I went to hook up DecoderPro to my Powerhouse Pro 5 amp system today (I am connecting from a Windows 10 laptop, with a USB to serial cable).  It worked fine for about 10 minutes, then lost connection in the middle of reading back settings from an ESU decoder on the program track.  Since then I have been unable to reconnect, and when it quit it also lost all track power and cab bus operation.  Now all I have got is a flashing red status light on the command station.  No track power, no cab bus power, and can't reconnect by computer.  HELP!  What have I done?  Sorry to be so long-winded...but sometimes the details make all the difference:)
