Changing CV29 to 0 or 1 will have you running in 14 speed steps. Since you're going to be changing CV29, lets get some more info and set it once.

Do you want an extended address? Speed Tables? Analog Mode? Curious, what brand loco and what brand decoder?

Anyway, let's assume you want an extended (4 digit) address, no speed tables and turn off analog, AND since normal direction is reversed, program CV29 to 35.

Let us know how this works.

Hello All,

Yes, it's CV 29. Typically the default is Value: 0. Call up CV 29 and change the value to 1. If that doesn't do it then change the CV Value to 0.

I can never get them straight but one of them will make your loco run in your direction of choice.

Hope this helps.

Yes, CV 29 can change the locomotive's direction of travel, but you need to know what value is in CV 29 in order to know what it should be changed to.

Add 1 to the value that is in CV 29.

In short, I just bought a MP-15DC and when I indicate forward, it goes in reverse, and reverse is forward. Is there a CV that configures this?
