MRC Prodigy Express Power Supply
Posted by RRaddict on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 12:40 PM

Would some one please tell me what kind of power supply I can replace my old Prodigy Express power upply with. I cannot get an answer from the MRC people. I waited three months for it to be repaired, I told them I need a new one but the system came back without one or what type I need to replace it with. Any help would be appreciated.

Can't stop working on the railroad!

Take a look at the following link from Tony's Trains: http://www.tonystrains.com/technews/mrc-prodigye-review.htm . Apparently the power supply is a 15v 1.6amp switching power supply. A suitable supply should be available from one of the on-line electronics dealers. You will need to check on the plug that goes into your command station to get the right one.
