Thank you, I will try it.
Speed matching uses 3 CV's to regulate the speed,. CV's 2, 5 and 6. CV 2 is the start voltage, CV 6 is the mid range and CV 5 is the top speed. CV 3 is the acceleration speed and CV 4 is the deceleration speed. If you can adjust CV values with your system you should first set CV's 3 and 4 to 0. CV 2 should be set low enough so the loco just starts to move with the throttle on speed 1. You may have to do this several times with each loco to find the right value of CV 2. I usually set CV 5 to 255 and CV6 to between 100 and 150. You may have to play with the value of CV 6 with each loco as well. I have no knowledge of how the MRC system you have functions so maybe someone else here may be able to add more information for you.
MRC Express. Can you help guide me through it as I am a beginner with NO CV experience.
Speed matching is a relatively simple procedure. What DCC system do you have?
Does anyone out there know of anybody that will do speed matching in Missouri? I have 3 Athearn Genesis SD70ACE's and an Intermountain SD70MAC I need speed matched. All have digitrax decoders I believe.
