LED Light Installations
Posted by hustle_muscle on Thursday, September 5, 2013 8:57 PM

Does anybody know of any references on installing LED lights? I need to put some new bulbs in my Life-Like P2K GP30 after an unfortunate bulb burnout after installing my NCE decoder and forgetting about resistors...Dunce

This is a simple, but helpful article that has helped me a great deal the last few years.

Also wondering, would the LED's from modeltrainsoftware.com work with a locomotive that has a P2K-SR decoder from NCE?

That would depend which of the LEDs from that site you purchase as they have several.    Judging from the specifications in the p2ksr manual, it looks like their "universal solid LEDs for transformers" would work.
