well some pluses and minuses: the sd-60 with universal lenz nscale decoder reprogrammed with
cv-30/2. however, now the loco creeps when throttle is off. is this a function of dc interference and if so what is the cv setting to disable it. thanks, dr. b

Sounds like the decoder lost the address that it was using. Do what Pete said and hopefully all will be well. If it works on address 3 after the reset you will have to program the proper locomotive number again.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
The first thing to try is to reset the decoder it is either CV8=8 or CV30=2. Then try to move it on address 3. Do this on your program track.

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!
I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
I am using cvp dcc and system has been reliable. the issue is a 2 year old atlas sd-60 which was working fine last month. now , the lights go on but it does not move. the decoder came with the loco- lens or nce??
the other loco , which is bachmann runs fine on the same track- all electrical connections are intact and there are no buzzers ringing ( for a short ) since I am not decoder savy but would like to learn more- where do I begin ?? thanks for all of your help inthe past. phil in socal
