Strange Problem! Does this happen in STC mode? If not, then I would check the BEMF value in RTC mode. If you cannot resolve his, I suspect you will need to contact QSI Technical Service.

I have done that. I tried many different setting with no result.
But i can't understand why CV3 and CV4 have no affect in RTC mode. Why does it have momentum when values are 0?
Go to the QSI web site and download the Technical Reference Manual for the Titan decoder. That should contain detailed instructions for every CV that the decoder supports.
The veranda was without a decoder and i purcaced seperatly the titan decoder and installed it.
The Titan decoder is the newest QSI variant, and I am not under the impression that Athearn has ever contracted with QSI for providing decoders for their various locomotives. You might possibly have a Soundtraxx Tsunami variant in your Veranda. I understand that the Tsunamis provided for other manufacturers, and not sold to individual installers, are stripped down a bit. In any event, have you tried a hard reset to factory defaults to see if that makes it more adjustable? You will have to modify the address on your throttle back to "03" to work with it after the reset, as you probably know. In any event, if you set CV8 to a value of "08", and press the function to restore the decoder to defaults, it may improve things.

Hi,
i have one question about programing the athearn turbine veranda. With factory default setting it has a slow acceleration and a very very slow deceleration especially when it is near at stop speed. It may crawl for at least 1,5 feet before it stops. Also when i change direction it change before it stops.I tried to change cv3 and cv4 but it has no affect on the loco when in RTC mode. If i put cv 3 and 4 at 0 or at 50 it's the same thing. How can i adjust it to stop without crawling that much?
