Use your power supply from your old computer. It has both 5V and 12V.

Nikolai,
If you do decide to sell it, let me know. I may be interested in it for MY Christmas tree.

Do what I did, sell it on Ebay. I got back at least half of what I paid for it.

One of the most common questions on this board is: Should I upgrade to DCC? I want to but can't afford it. You could help them try it out.
NIKOLAIwe have upgraded to digitrax and still have our bachmann easy command i was wondering if there is any way to (use it as a throttle) or any other way

HO and N Scale.
After long and careful thought, they have convinced me. I have come to the conclusion that they are right. The aliens did it.
Well,not as a throttle anyway, BUT
~You could keep it as CUDAKEN can attest- your Digitrax may give out and you may be glad you have the EZC to fall back on to run traisn while yours gets fixed or get a new one..
~you could keep it for the children or grandhcildren to run trains on a small layout. they won't care it is a EZ C adn will be "cehap"s set up for them in DCC.
~That, and what I AM doing...the under the tree layout in Nscale now converted to DCC with the B EZC.
~ OR give it away here to someone who can use it and wants to convert to DCC. {you cannot sell on here ,but there is no rule against giving it away}

Seeing as you do not want to mix DCC systems I would suggest that if you have a separate test track for running in engines it would be fine. Or as already suggested use it for your Christmas tree display set.
You could use it to run trains around the Christmas tree?
