Hi railway modellers. A few weeks ago I posted my dilemma regarding my layout shorting with my 2 qsi locomotives on it!
After much discussion with my fellow train tech , we discovered that there was nothing wrong with the locos the decoders or the layout nor was there an inrush current problem.
We found that the nce eb1 circuit breaker was set a bit too low for the little extra power being drawn by the qsi. Out of the factory they are set to 2.5amps . We just reset the breaker to a higher voltage now set at 3.5amps and away we went!!! No problems at all,
so thanks to all who racked their brains for me .i hope there is some hair still there!!!!
