The Select has 4 prime mover sounds on one decoder. I am sure if you put the Heavy steam sound set in you can customize the prime mover sounds to approximate what you are looking for. If you have a programmer it is a lot easier to do. Even though the diverse sound set has a 2-10-0 prime mover advertised I instead used the Heavy steam for the large Decapods the PRR had. I also used the same sound sets for the K5s Pacific. So far I have 5 Select decoders with only 2 different sound sets and each sounds different from one another. I have 2 in 2-10-0 locos. One has a coast to coast tender and the other is smaller as built tender. They are both set up the same but just the size difference in tenders makes a huge change in tones. I am still waiting for the PRR sound set to come out.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
gmpullman Hi, Alax Which railroad's Berkshire are you trying to emulate? ESU has several that would be close, even one that says "Steam: four driven axles" If I were going to gamble I'd go with this one even though a U2g is a 4-8-4 Steam "CN U2G" 73437 Have fun! Ed

So ESU doesn't have a Berkshire sound file for the Select. What other engine does the Berk sound the closest to? Would the 2-8-2 sound file sound close enough?
