Glad you got it back. Once you get the road number changed and the changes you want made make sure to read your CVs into decoder Pro and save them. That way you can reload the decoder if you have another mis step.

Yes. Thank you. I can now operate the loco on address 003. I will change it to the road number.  I have a NCE power pro system with a soundtraxx decoder in this Bachmann Alco S-2 Diesel engine.

So are you now able to control the loco on address 3? If everything is OK on address 3 then you can change your address to the desired number.  What decoder is in your loco and what DCC system are you using?

I did change the Loco #8432 back to #003 and it did reset the factory settings.

The program only listed a Alco S-4 and I have a S-2. I was in the programer when I hit factory reset and thats when I lost everything.  I tried "write all sheets" and it said writing CV-29 with a sand dial telling me to wait, but it was taking over 5 minutes with nothing happening, so I got out of the program again with nothing changed.

If the reset really did a factory reset you should be able to get control on address 3. If you saved your loco settings to DecoderPro you can try reloading them by using the "write all sheets" command on your program track. Don't do this on the regular track unless you remove all other locos. That button you pushed is dangerous Smile

Just set up everthing and was playing with the program and hit a reset button and lost eveyrthing on my engine except the idle sound.  How do I get back to at least the factory settings? (The instructions are confussing to me and I don't know computers very well).
