Digitrax transponding
Posted by John Todd on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 4:58 PM

I have installed a BDL-168 block detector and the tester show that it is working as the train moves around the

layout. However, the find button my Digitrax 402 throttle can't find the loco'or zone. What could be the problem?

Do you have the RX4's hooked up and wired as shown in the diagrams?  ANd are you using Digitrax decoders?

Yes, everything is wired. As I said, the testor shows lights for each block and the train travels,

Also make sure transponding is turned on in the decoder. Make sure CV61 is 2.

Just to clarify, you DO have a BDL168 AND one or two RX4's, correct? Make sure the RX4 connecotr is plugged in to the conenctor ont he BDL168 the correct way, pretty sure it won;t work if reversed. Won;t break anything, it just won;t work.
