NCE power pro "hammerhead" throttle
Posted by Blind Bruce on Saturday, August 18, 2012 11:28 AM

It has been a while since I used the throttle that came with my NCE system. I can turn it on and operate the layout but I forgot how to turn it OFF!!!

I have gone through the manual and cannot see any reference to turning it on or off.

I know it shuts itself off after a while but those AAA batteries are expensive.

I have the exact same system. I don't think you can shut off just the throttle, not that I know of.

I just power off the system, it's plugged into a power strip, and the batteries are fine. I leave the cable attached when not in use.

But you need to get some good quality rechargeable batteries. That's what I have.

I believe that it is the "expn" button along the bottom.  Press it and you get two choices on the screen.  I forget what one of them is, but the other is press 1 to turn off. (or maybe press 2..........it's one of the selections!)
