I think the loco has a spot for a 28 mm round speaker. My BLI F7 and F3 had a spot for a 28 mm speaker.

Easy can be a relative term. I have not seen the inside of the loco.
Hello all!
I have a question about getting a decoder for a Broadway Limited SD40-2. What would be the easiest type of decoder to just "plug" in to the board? If I was considering sound, what would be the best decoder to go with that would go in the easiest and sound fairly good? A good basic decoder? A good sound decoder?
