I'm having problems wiring a tsunami pb100 booster to my superchief. I gat the blinking green light but can't get decoderpro to recognize the program track. I'm using the loco buffer USB on my Mac . What settings should I use in decoderpro preferences?
I've tried using my power supply 16vac, didn't recognize programming track, I switched to a 14vdc power supply still no luck. I can get the booster to light up with both power supplies, so I think the problem might be in the configuring of the decoder pro.

Your preferences in JMRI should be set to Digitrax, DCS100, Locobuffer USB with whatever serial port it established itself selected.
If you go under the Loconet menu and select Monitot Loconet Stats does it populate? If you select Monitor Loconet and then select and run a train with your throttle, do you see the data? If both are true , then the connection is working properly. Next thing would be to try selecting a loco using the JMRI throttle. If that works, you DEFINITELY have communications between the computer and the DCS100.
Try programming with the throttle. Try it without the PTB, if it works from a throttle without the PTB, try using JMRI withotu the PTB. If this all works, the problem is the PTB and/or how it is wired.

Make sure Decoder Pro is configured to use the correct USB port. It must be done manually.
