Martin,
Thanks! That was it!!

You have the loco's address selected on a jump throttle and the DCS51's throttle. Jump throttle is disconnected but the system still has the address in memory. Simplest way to solve this is to clear the roster in the Zephyr using option switch 36. See section 26 - "Clearing The System" of your Zephyr Extra Manual for instructions.
After clearing you will need to select each loco again to run them.

Sorry team for not giving details. I thought it was a quick question/quick gotcha.
Digitrax DCS51 Starter Set. Three locos are Tsunami, one is Digitrax DH163D.
Atlas Code 100 flex track, permanent, feeders every 6 feet. 18 gauge main bus 20 gauge feeders. There are no electrical anomalies, coin test passes in every corner of the layout. Total length of mainline oval is 50 feet.
I don't think it is over current shutdown- the sound on the locos remains on thru the whole event. Others locos are also on. I have 4 on the layout but usually only one is running as there is only one operator.
I have only 1 DCC throttle, my DC throttle used in jump mode has been disconnected.
Thanks!
What is the current output of your DCC system -- it sound like the internal circuit breaker keeps tripping because of a current overload or inadequate wire gauge between the booster and track. Do you have multiple power connections to the track, or only one? How far away from the DCC system does this happen? What type of track; i.e., sectional (Bachmann EZ Track) or 3 foot flex track put down permanently?
You need to provide much more information such as the type of track used, how much track you have, how many power feeds to the track, the type of DCC system being used, the type of wire used, etc.
What DCC system? Sounds like a usual case of having the loco selected on two different throttles, one set to stop and one you are trying to run it with.

Hello again,
I have a puzzling question that started recently: two of my 4 DCC equipped locks started to "pause" after a few seconds of running and then after a few additional seconds they resume their prior commanded speed. This is irritating my toddler who keeps asking "Why train stopping?" ...
I have a Bachmann 4-6-0 with Tsunami and a Genesis GP15 also with Tsunami that are showing the problem. Another Genesis GP70 and an Athearn P42 with Digitraxx DH163D do not show this problem.
I timed the 4-6-0 and it is ALWAYS run for 16 seconds then stop for 8 then auto resume speed and repeat.
I tried a few things (such as decoder time out etc.) but ey don't seem to be affecting things. There are no shorts or wheel pickup issues as I cleaned.
Thoughts?
