Hello;
I have the Digitrax Chief operating system and I am having a problem when I close and throw switches that are operated through 3 DS64 staionary decoders. All the switches throw but when I throw a switch the DT400 shows the same screen that you get when you plug in the DT400 at other locations around the layout and you get kicked out of switch mode on the DT400. Any help would be appreaciated.

Bill,
Need more info:
How are your DS64's powered? (auxilliary power?)
Is there a loconet connection to each DS64?
Is track power connected to the DS64's?
To begin troubleshooting I would disconnect any track and/or loconet from 2 of the three DS64's. Test just the one. If that works, connect another and test again. Connect the third and test again. If the trouble returns on any of the tests. Isolate the last unit connected and test again. Could be a simple as a bad cable but need the additional info to begin working this out.

Thanks for the help. The DS64s are each powered by 3 wall warts and yes there are loconet conections to all 3 DS64s. There is no track power going to the 3 DS64s.
Thanks
If the switches throw or close correctly, your problem is not with switch control. It sounds like you are having a problem with your hand held throttle (DT400) not holding the screen that allows you to send switch commands.
Do you send any Loco speed commands after sending a switch command? That will take it out of switch mode.
Have you tried a new battery?
Elmer.
