Yup, still $119.95 for the 10 pack from EMpire. And $10.49 each in the 100 pack! ANyone says they can;t afford to convert for $11 a loco - please.

It depends where you are getting them from. http://www.empirenorthern.com/product/5366/D13SRJ-4-function-9-pin-JST/ cheaper still if you get the 100 pack!!!!

The gadget freak in my says the keep alive option looks pretty neat. The frugal PA Dutchman side of me says, what woudl I possibly need this for, none of my locos so much as blinks a headlight passing over unpowered frogs, and I never have to clean my track.
There are many choices
Here are some good ones.... http://www.tcsdcc.com/public_html/Customer_Content/Products/Decoders/HO-Scale/T-Series/T-Series.htm
I have a hankering to get one of the new Keep Alive decoders when they are released later this year.
Most anyone? There's hardly a decoder made these days that does not work on DC. All the popular brands are dual mode, and are available with a 9 pin connector, from a $12 NCE D13SRJ (if you buy a 10 pack at a time) to the $40+ Lenz Gold.
Who makes a dual DC/DCC quick plug decoder (part # also) that plugs into a 9 pin plug without any wiring or alterations? I need one for an Overland Models locomotive. Thanks in advance for any help fellas! -James
