Yes there are 12 volt warm white LED's. I use these all the time and love the ease of not having to squeeze a resistor in some of the tight spaces. Good looking headlights.

Rich

A bit off the OP's topic but how did you make the non-clickable links clickable?

Thanks

Dave

Evans Designs makes pre-wired LEDs in several sizes. They come set up to use any power supply up to 14 volts AC or DC, so if you want you can connect them up to the track power on your DCC system (like for a building).

Any of the "2000" golden- or sunny-whites?

I just did a search on eBay for "pre wired LED" and got over 2,000 possibilities.  Many colors at prices MUCH lower than at the previous posted links.

Lets make this clickable.

http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/bl-212.html

Here is Richmond Controls also.

http://www.richmondcontrols.com/

Some here have to learn to save the link in their browser. This has been posted here before.

Ok, did you save the two links.

Making a statement about a source is nice but learn how to post the link in messages here helps some people  a lot.

Yes there is !

These units work very well  I have used both 3 and 5 MM size and are very satisfied.

These work on AC DC and DCC systems at 7 to 19 volts

They say there is a 2 year replacement guarantee

It takes half a second to attach a resistor to the LED. You can buy LEDs in quantity for well under $1 each, and resistors are 5 cents each. Saving $2 by soldering your own resistor on will really add up especially if you need a lot of them.

Actually, Richmond Controls offers them prewired at $3.00 each. He might discount for a large quantity, you'd have to ask.

Simple answer: nope.  Solution: You'll just have to make time.

It's not that difficult.  You can do it while you're watching TV....or when you're listening to the radio or stereo.

Pre Wired 12v LEDs For Locomotives
Posted by alloboard on Monday, March 12, 2012 11:02 PM

Are there vendors that make pre wired 12 LED's that come in the colors of golden and sunny white? I will be needing lots of LED's and I don't think that I will ever have time to wire all those resistors.
