OOPS my bad! I did one, but it wasn't the Spectrum and a cheap Bachmann $10.00 loco that most modellers would have tossed, I had to put everything in the tender.

The OT wanted sound installation.
I have made it on my own 0-6-0t, and it was quite straightforward. I started with a Loksound micro V4.
I then ripped out all of the original wiring, and replaced the lights with warm white LED's and some 1kOhm resistors.
I placed the decoder in the cab behind the seats (it fits perfectly!), the speaker I used was a dual 1/2" isobaric setup that I placed instead of the firebox.

I sent you a PM.
I have a document on how someone did this with a SoundTraxx DSD decoder a few years ago. You can use a Tsunami Micro or a LokSound Micro which are both good for 0.750 amps and slightly smaller than the DSD.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Would anyone be interested in describing how to install sound in the Bachmann Spectrum 060 saddle tank locomotive.
