Decoder & Gyra For SW1500
Posted by blabride on Thursday, February 16, 2012 8:40 AM

I am about to put a decoder in a new RTR Athearn Sw1500. I would like to get the 2 bulbs working as a Gyralight so I have a couple of questions.

First does anyone know if the light board in these are like the new SD70? Where you can plug in a TCS DP2X and program the Gyralight to work, or would I need to take it out for a A6X and rewire using the 1.5 pad for the Athearn bulbs? If I go this route would I need to separate the bulbs for the front and rear headlights on the yellow and white solder tabs to keep them from being to dim?

Thanks,

SB
