I have a few of these that are still unopened,
Give me a day or to and I will get a picture of the wiring diagram for you guys,
I've never used one but i plan to try it out and see what happens.
Send me an email to larry_l_doub at yahoo.com subject modeltronics sound unit and I'll send the pics to you when I get them
The only information I could find about Modeltronics through a Google search is that they existed in the latter 1970's to early 1980's, but most references are in foreign languages with no references anywhere to available schematics.
Some time last year a local modeler gave our club a Modeltronics sound system, but with no schematics and many wires pulled out of their solder joints, we have never tried using it. Too ancient, as far as technology goes.
A Hobbylinc listing for a Modeltronics equipped diesel locomotive indicates that it is discontinued and no longer available.
Does anyone have a schematic the old diesel track powered sound units in the dummy diesels? Both my wires came off and Imdo not k ow where to solder them back on
