The only information I could find about Modeltronics through a Google search is that they existed in the latter 1970's to early 1980's, but most references are in foreign languages with no references anywhere to available schematics.

Some time last year a local modeler gave our club a Modeltronics sound system, but with no schematics and many wires pulled out of their solder joints, we have never tried using it.  Too ancient, as far as technology goes.

A Hobbylinc listing for a Modeltronics equipped diesel locomotive indicates that it is discontinued and no longer available.
