I have to agree with Jim, I have one also, nice runner, good sound, tho not as loud as my other QSI's, but it's got all the bells and whistles (no pun intended). Glad I picked one up.

  I have one - DCC/Sound: It runs better than the older(10 years ago) Roco models.  The detail is much better, and the sound is OK.  I am not sure what a real FM sounds like(and I watched real ones for hours).  Overall, the model is very nice.

Has anyone heard one of these new units?  How was the sound, detail, and general operation?
