N scale Kato AC4400 decoder install

Anyone here have experience installing the MRC sound decoder in the Kato AC4400?  I am having a hard time getting the car body to seat all the way down after the decoder is installed.  I believe the electronic components and the speaker are in the way but the decoder is supposed to be drop in.  I would really like to have sound but with the bad rep the MRC decoders have I am thinking about giving up on the sound and just getting a decoder that will allow me to run the loco.  Any tips?

Thanks I was afraid of that. That was the only solution I came up with but wanted to see maybe I had a fluke and everyone else had it easy.

 Hi allaircooled,  

I converted  one  recently with the  same  board  fitted with  sound and  found  the  same  problem,   to  solve it  got  a curved  needle  file  and   worked  away  at  the  exhauast retaining  pins  on  the inside  of  the  body,  if  you  do  it  enough  the  exhaust  will  fall out (it  did  on  me)  and  so i  used  the  tiniest  drop  of  CA    to  hold  it in  place.

Thanks I did the same thing except I used my Dremel and grinded it down. Now it fits. So much for just drop in.
