Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0 goes wrong way with Vanderbilt tender I purchased with it.

I just recently purchashed a new Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0 Consolidation off ebay that came with its standard tender and also had an extra Vanderbilt tender that came with it. When I hook up the tender that was in the box with the engine it goes forward and the headlight comes on as it should. There is no reverse light on that tender so the light on the engine is also on in reverse. If I hook up the Vanderbilt tender the engine reverses when the throttle is set to forward and the headlight on the engine is on while its backing up. If I put the throttle to reverse the engine goes forward and the light on the engine goes off and the reverse light on the tender comes on. With it doing this I would assume thatseems a wire inside is switched, but I wasnt sure what wires I will need to switch to correct this problem. Please let me know if you know how to fix this.

Thanks Dusty
