Reed switch and wheel magnets for chuff control?
Posted by PHARMD98233 on Friday, July 4, 2008 11:53 PM
Do any of you have experience with using a reed switch and wheel magnets to control the chuff rate?  Are there any web sites which address this method of chuff control?  Thanks!

BLI uses these on the Blueline steam locos but they use the flywheel and not the wheels.
Looks simple to do. Use a very small magnet.
